Background
Moriconi offers handmade silver necklaces, earrings, bracelets and rings online and in brick and mortar retail stores. M2 launched their first collaboration with Moriconi in 2017 and again in 2018 when they refurbished another jewelry store for Moriconi. With the success of these two businesses, Moriconi opened a third in Edinburgh’s newly opened luxury shopping center, St James Quarter, and reached out to M2 to once again design its jewelry kiosk.
Challenge
Due to the success of our first two collaborations, the client had very high standards for us. On the other hand, the mall is known for being extremely picky about the design aspects of its merchants’ kiosk. We needed to provide a jewelry koisk design that was both unique and classic.
Soulution
Our designer presented more than 8 versions for the mall to consider, showcasing the significant changes in the main design concept. Throughout this process, the designer nearly lost hope, but eventually, it was approved. This mall is known for its extremely selective nature when it comes to design. To be honest, our design is highly practical, which is why we strongly recommend clients to engage a professional design company when dealing with shopping malls or brands that have high design standards.
